I just made sure to let it rest for approximately 15 minutes after using it for 45 minutes continuously.

So, start with plugging everything into the nearest power outlet. Then tighten the release valve, which is located at the bottom of the tank. It is to ensure that the air doesn’t come out through the valve. Now, connect the hose with one or both air outlets.
Turn the regulator valve up and press the switch to turn on the compressor. You should be able to monitor the PSI on the gauges situated at the top of the tank. Use the regulator valve to control the pressure and you are good to go.

Let it be like that for 20 minutes without increasing the pressure. Now, shut the compressor off and tighten the release valve. With that, you are done with the break-in process.
One more thing I would like to add before moving into another section is, never and I mean never open the bleeder or release valve when the tank is at high pressure. It may lead to some serious valve damage, which will cause leaks. The only option left for you will be to buy another valve asap.

You’ll also receive a hole clamp with purchase. I have two suggestions for the setup process: make sure to cut your new hose to the same size as your old one, and don’t use the crimp clamp that comes along with the switch, instead use a screw clamp.

The Porter Cable 6 gallon Air Compressor C2002 drain valve is in many ways better than the original one. The valve is made up of brass; so, there is less to no chance of rust build-up. It doesn’t rely on an O-ring like the original valve, which usually dulls due to the threads. This valve is more effective and far more durable.
I’ve changed the original valve to the N286039 a couple of years ago and it has been serving me since then. So far, I have no complaints against the drain valve and I would highly recommend you switch your drain valve as soon as you see any signs of cut or damage on your existing valve.
Buffing the Compressor with Accessories

Apart from that, the chuck is relatively long and can sit on the tire stem securely without any sort of inconvenience. The hybrid hose is made up of quality material and doesn’t become rigid even in extreme temperatures. The hose is flexible and you can easily maneuver it in tight or cramped up places.
Next comes the easy-to-read gauge, which is my personal favorite part of the unit. It measures up to 150 PSI and is 2-inch in diameter. On the other hand, the product comes with a relief valve, which reduces the excessive pressure in overinflated tires by bleeding off the air. Hence, you do not need to keep an eye open every time you plan on inflating your tires properly.
Inflating tires is much easier with the MP600000A. You’ll have to press the clip first, then put the chuck on a Schrader-type valve. Any Schrader-type tire valve will work. When you are done pushing the chuck onto the stem, you’ll have to release the clip. This will lock the chuck in place and you won’t have to use your hands anymore. Time to squeeze the trigger and with that you are done.

The Camco Brass Blow Out plug is a tool you can use to remove water. As you can already see, it is made up of brass; therefore, no chance of falling victim to corrosion or rust.
